Reporting to our Assistant Director, the Financial Accountant I will be responsible for directing and managing the accounting and financial activities for all business revenue streams and operations. You will handle all bank & account reconciliations, process payments and post to the Museum's accounting software. You will perform tax reporting functions including IRS 1099 statements, quarterly sales tax reports and payments. You will manage the external audit process with our auditing firm, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile invoices and vendor accounts, process payments and post to accounting software.
• Provide information and support for timely completion of the annual audit.
• Reconcile daily receipts for deposit and post to accounting software
• Reconcile bank statements and provide regular financial reports. Insure regular back ups of financial accounting data.
• Creator duties for TAMU-CC Famis and Canopy entries.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and knowledge of standard office equipment and PC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to provide an excellent customer service.
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge.

Salary:

• $39,805.92
