Job Description:

COURSE TITLE: PPOL 115: The American Presidency
Department: Public Policy and Political Science

Department: The Public Policy and Political Science Department at Mills College is pleased to announce an opportunity for an instructor to teach PPOL 115: The American Presidency for the Spring 2020 semester.

Course Description: This course examines the presidential selection process, the scope and powers of the office, and the major determinants of presidential behavior. Instructors are encouraged to make the course particularly relevant to the upcoming presidential election.

Requirements:

Minimum qualification is a Masters Degree in Political Science or an associated field. Terminal degree in Political Science or an associated field with a concentration on American Politics preferred.

Additional Information:

Compensation: For faculty new to Mills, compensation is $6,000 per course without a terminal degree and $6,500 per course with a terminal degree. Adjunct compensation is governed by a collective bargaining agreement and increases with seniority at Mills College.
