This nine-month, entry-level, tenure track position requires teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Public Health program, particularly in the Health Education emphasis area; developing a programmatic line of research; and providing service to the school, college, university, and professional organizations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The tenure-track appointment at the assistant professorlevel involves
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Health Education emphasis area
- Research leading to refereed publication
- Participation in departmental, university and community service
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Doctorate (Ph.D. or equivalent) in health education or a related discipline such as health promotion, behavioral health science, or community health education.
Demonstrated line of scholarly inquiry evidenced by submission of peer-reviewed publications, professional presentations, and/or grant submissions.
Demonstrated ability to engage in effective teaching and service.Preferred Qualifications
