The Department of Economics announces a search for a tenure track position at the assistant professor rank, effective August 2020. Applicants must have research and teaching interests in macroeconomics. We are particularly interested in candidates who use cutting edge quantitative and/or empirical methods. The teaching load is 3-2 and includes macroeconomics courses at all levels.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should be committed to teaching in the liberal arts tradition and producing high quality research. A Ph.D. in Economics by the time of appointment is strongly preferred. We encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate through their scholarship, teaching, or service that they can contribute to the diversity and inclusive excellence of our community.
