EDUCATION : Graduate Writing Seminar
Part-time Instructor
Description: The Department of Education at Tufts University is seeking a part-time instructor to teach and support writing skills in the School Psychology and Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Programs during the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 terms.
The purpose is to build professional writing skills. Graduate teaching or professional writing experience in these areas are preferred. The course introduces students to principles of graduate and professional level writing, and provides support to students for their papers, projects, and field-based writing requirements.
This seminar is for graduate students in the School Psychology and Diversity & Inclusion Leadership programs.
Qualifications: Ed.S./M.S./CAGS in School Psychology or related field and successful university teaching experience are preferred. The successful candidate should have experience consulting and supervising student writing at the graduate level, as well as a working knowledge of the legal, ethical, and educational principles governing report-writing in professional settings.
