Job Summary

This role ensures the Student Account Services unit provides excellent student services, timely and accurate federal, state and institutional accounting/reconciliations, sound financial procedures and controls, and leadership in the development of new policies, procedures, and business practices. The Student Services Director provides fiscal program management and oversight of financial resources including department budget, revenue, petty cash, clearing, student fee receivable accounts, institutional short and long-term loan funds, federal loan programs, sponsor billing program, and installment payment plan. The position also has system management and oversight responsibilities that include planning, development and enhancement activities for the SAP Student Life Cycle Management Student Accounting system. The Director will also work collaboratively with the Financial Ombud in counseling and assisting students and parents with financial problems, as well as serve as supporting Enrollment Management during recruiting events, retention efforts, and other student oriented programs.
