Assistant/Associate Professor

Job description

Chemical, Paper and Biomedical Engineering: Assistant/Associate Professor (tenure-track) to develop an independent high quality research program; teach undergraduate and graduate courses according to the needs of the department, primarily in biomedical engineering; advise students; supervise student research; and provide service to the institution. 

Required: Earned doctoral degree in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, or related field by date of appointment. Appointment as Associate Professor requires a proven record of accomplishment in research, scholarship, teaching and service.

Consideration may be given to candidates with expertise in the areas of bioinstrumentation, biomedical device design, neuroengineering, cardiovascular engineering, computational biomedical engineering, or bioinformatics; or those with a record of published research/scholarship in biomedical engineering/bioengineering or experience teaching in higher education.
