Johnson County Community College is looking to fill an adjunct teaching position in our Photography & Filmmaking program. This position will teach one section of FMS 200 in the Spring of 2020, with the possibility of future FMS, Photography, or New Media teaching assignments. JCCC is located in Overland Park, KS, the second largest city in the state of Kansas and part of the greater Kansas City Metro. The Kansas City Metro is known for its museums, restaurants, and music and art scenes. JCCC is similarly dedicated to creating and maintaining a rich cultural community, with an award-winning contemporary art museum and center for the performing arts located on campus. JCCC is looking for a diverse pool of applicants for an adjunct teaching position that will support the Department of Fine Art, Photo & Film in the new Fine Arts & Design Studios at JCCC. We educate a large, diverse student body. Many of our 18,000 students are non-traditional, military veterans, immigrants, international, and first-generation college students. Required Skills
  • Master of Fine Arts degree or Doctorate in Film & Media Studies or related field
Required Experience
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Previous community college teaching experience preferred
