Position Title: Coordinator of Re-entry (Grant-Funded)

Salary: 49,898

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Higher Education, Human Services, Sociology, Psychology or a related field and three (3) years of work experience in reentry, corrections, juvenile detention services, or academic setting (program oversight, teaching or program development) required and/or master’s degree with (1) year of experience. Must have effective communication skills, experience with developing program processes and procedures, the ability to work a flexible schedule, and awareness of probation, parole, and detention centers. Must meet the clearance requirements to work in the prison (background check, fingerprinting, etc.). A valid driver’s license and vehicle at the time of appointment and throughout employment is required.


Duties:

The Coordinator of Re-entry will be responsible for taking a lead role in coordinating support/educational services and activities to assist post-release returning citizens and offenders’ transitioning back into the community. This position will be responsible for facilitating case management activities to include, but not limited to referrals to community-based agencies, employment preparation, and housing search. The Coordinator of Re-entry will assist with monitoring staff, maintaining accurate statistical records and preparing fiscal and quarterly reports.
