Job Description:

The Department of the Arts at the American University in Cairo (AUC) is seeking to recruit adjunct faculty members in Music and Music Technology. Candidates are being sought who have the experience and expertise necessary to teach both introductory and advanced courses in theory and performance (in both Arab and Western music), World music, music appreciation, music production using Protools, microphone techniques, digital mixing techniques, and music for film.


Commitment to teaching and engagement of students, as well as service to the program and the department are necessary. An active research and practice agenda is recommended. A terminal degree is preferred, but candidates with a masters degree and/or significant experience in the field will also be considered.
