Job Description:

The Construction Program of the Department of Construction and Architectural Engineering at American University in Cairo invites applications for adjunct faculty positions at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor level in the School of Sciences and Engineering. Experienced candidates will teach undergraduate/graduate courses in:

1-Geology for Engineers

2- Construction Surveying

3-Transportation Engineering

4-Senior Project I

5-Construction Materials and Quality Control I lab

6-Introduction to Architectural Engineering

7-Drawing for Construction Engineering and Architecture

8-Methods and Equipment for Construction II

9-Design and Construction of Foundations and Retaining Structures

10-Structural Analysis and Design Principles for Architects

11-Structural Design for Architects I

12-Structural Design for Architects II

13-Structural Analysis lab


Minimum academic achievement of PhD in said or related discipline; Minimum 3 years work experience in said or related field; Teaching experience preferred in said or related discipline; English proficiency is a must.

Candidates will teach but not restricted to these courses.
