Job Description:

The Department of Petroleum and Energy Engineering at the American University in Cairo invites applications for adjunct faculty positions at Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor level in the School of Sciences and Engineering. Experienced candidates are to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in:

Fundamentals of Surveying
Electrical Engineering
Petroleum Geology and Exploration
Production Engineering Fundamentals
Well Production Enhancement
Drilling Engineering I
Drilling Engineering I Lab
Drilling Engineering II
Well Testing
Well Testing Lab


A PhD degree in a related field is required; however, in case of exceptionally valuable practical experience, this condition may be relaxed.

English proficiency is a must.
