The registered professional nurse will provide nursing care that is not limited to but includes: performing routine medical office procedures and testing, administration of medications, patient triage, teaching, referral and follow up care to a diverse student population, as well as support the patient flow for the advanced practitioner patient visits, arranging and monitoring the visit flow of the patient chart. Perform other duties as required.

Hours: Part-time, per diem, providing coverage during the academic year, September - May, as determined by the needs of the department.
Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a graduate level degree (MSN) or undergraduate degree (BSN) in Nursing. An active, current New York State license. A minimum of two years of experience as an RN, with at least one year in an ambulatory care setting, and with a strong interest in young adult clinical health services. CPR certification. Candidate will have good communication skills, and work together with members of the health care team. Candidate must have a passion for and experience with working students, families, and colleagues of diverse backgrounds. Candidate will independently perform assigned duties and responsibilities. Candidate will demonstrate patient advocacy, assuring patients’ rights to privacy, safety, and confidentiality. Candidate will act as a role model for students.
