Description:

Clemson University's English Department seeks an outstanding scholar and teacher at the assistant professor rank in Rhetoric/Composition with a specialization in Disability Rhetorics. Possible areas of emphasis: critical disability theory, queer and/or crip theory, rhetorics of disability justice, accessibility and universal design, poetics, new media, professional communication, technical communication. The successful candidate will collaborate with current faculty to enhance well-established curricular and institutional programs, including a robust English major at the BA level, MA programs in Writing, Rhetoric, and Media (MAWRM) and English (MAE), as well as an interdisciplinary PhD in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design (RCID).

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a PhD in Rhetoric/Composition or a related field.
