The Part-Time Grant Coordinator provides support and assistance to the day-to-day operations of the ARCOS (Accelerate, Retain, Complete with Opportunities and Support) grant. The position assists with the coordination of grant deliverables and the development od tasks and grant activities. This is temporary grant funded position.

- Assists in the implementation of tasks and deliverables of the grantMonitors grant activities and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local requirementsWorks with the Grant Director and corresponding departments to ensure the accuracy of contracts, reports and reimbursements under the provisions of the grantMaintains direct contact with students; provides guidance in establishing action plans for academic success Provides support in the development of grant activities, programs, and workshopsProvides assistance in coordinating travel arrangementsProvides support to the Grant Director in addressing student concerns and resolving student academic difficultiesSupports grant initiatives through referral, participation, and advertisement of available industry and graduate education opportunities for studentsParticipates and supports all key grant operations, including tracking statistics, maintaining grant documentations, departmental meetings, strategic planning and program assessment/evaluationsProvides marketing support in creating promotional brochures and pamphlets

- Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or STEM related discipline and (3) years of related experience
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively work with high school students
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to interact effectively and work collaboratively with other department and institutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other related computer programs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
- Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
