Job Details
Maintenance technician is responsible for maintenance of buildings, vehicles and grounds of campuses in Denton County.
Skills & Abilities:
Good knowledge working with power tools, basic painting skills, ability to operate riding lawnmower, work from ladder changing light bulbs/ ballast if necessary. Must be able to lift 50lbs., work outdoors, work off ladders safely, and drive at times for extended periods between campuses.
Responsibilities & Duties:
•General maintenance of buildings
•Mow soccer field, parking lot trash pickup , ice melt out in winter when needed, maintain dumpster and recycle areas
•Weekly inspections of campus and maintenance vehicles. Wash and clean when needed.
•Move furniture and equipment when assigned
•Weekly recycle pick up Main campus and Pinnell Square.
•Check Hippo FM work order system insuring work orders are completed.
•Courier duties when needed.
•Set up or assist in set up of events
•Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
Travel required between all Denton County NCTC campuses.
Salary starts at $20,467 to commensurate with experience.
Subject to criminal background check.
