Applicants are invited to apply for two (2) tenure track positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for the upcoming academic year that will begin September 1, 2020. U.S. News and World Report has ranked the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service (GSS) in the top 10% in the nation. Located in the heart of New York City, Fordham GSS is leading the way in future-focused competency-based curriculum and innovative academic programming. The School offers a baccalaureate (BASW), masters (MSW) and doctoral (Ph.D.) degree. Programs are delivered at three campuses: Lincoln Center, Westchester, and Molloy College, Long Island as well as fully online (MSW since 2011).

As an integral part of a Jesuit University, GSS educates and prepares social workers to serve diverse populations within a human rights and social justice framework. GSS is a collegial and supportive community of scholars recognized for their outstanding research and their collective dedication to teaching excellence.

Fordham GSS is seeking highly qualified candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: 1) Health and Integrated Health; 2) Children and Families; 3) Direct/Clinical Practice with Organizations and Communities; 4) Addictions and Treatment; 5) Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; 6) Social work and Technology.

Applicants must hold an MSW and a doctorate in Social Work. In addition, candidates must have demonstrated potential for/evidence of excellence in teaching, a significant record of research and scholarship commensurate with their rank.
