The Department of Art and Art History, College of Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Photography and Digital Imaging. The candidate will primarily teach Digital Photography to undergraduate and graduate students, and be the area head for Electronic Media, which includes Digital Imaging, Graphic Design, Illustration, and Multimedia.

Interaction with students from other media areas is encouraged. We are seeking candidates who will actively contribute to the Department and University through quality and quantity of their research and practice while also maintaining active participation in our richly diverse community of students, staff, and faculty.

Qualifications: MFA required; two years teaching experience beyond graduate school preferred. We are seeking a candidate with a distinguished and active exhibition record as a photographer with additional expertise in video. The candidate is required to have expertise in Adobe Creative Suite software and digital printing in a MacIntosh environment.

Salary will be determined by the candidate's experience and qualifications. The Faculty appointment date will be effective August 15, 2020. The application deadline is November 15th or until filled.
