Appointment: Temporary (seasonal), part-time position with primary work occuring on weekends and evenings. Position Summary: The Puget Sound Athletics Live Stream Coordinator will oversee video broadcasts for on-campus events, ensuring high-quality production for Puget Sound fans all across the globe to enjoy.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Training broadcast staff.
- Setting up and taking down broadcast equipment for events.
- Producing video graphics.
- Producing “game scripts”.
- Producing and gathering promotional content to broadcast during timeouts and breaks.
- Establishing best-possible camera angles across various venues on campus.
- Serving as the producer/director during broadcasts.
- Constantly communicating with camera operators to be sure they are positioned correctly during game-play.
- Making quick decisions in selecting best camera angles to go “live”.
- Coordinating with play-by-play broadcasters to ensure quality audio.
- Demonstrated experience working in television/visual broadcast with knowledge of camera operations, graphic display, and ability to be make production decisions to deliver quality broadcast. Understanding and interest in sports desired. High School Degree or equivalent. Educational background in television production at a post-high school level preferred. Ability to respectfully work, communicate and provide leadership within a diverse campus community
