Job Summary

This position will have responsibility over one major category of technology within the division. With that responsibility comes the authority to make overall decisions for maintaining and improving that technology. This person will also look at the future and plan for new technologies to meet the mission of the division. The person in this position must be cross-trained in all parts of the card system, phone system, network and security functions so as to assist with day to day or project needs.

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of five years experience in a technology position or a college degree and three years experience.

Preferred Qualifications

This position requires someone who is highly technical in both hardware and applications. They must be highly proficient with computer operating systems. Advanced knowledge in one of the four primary technologies (network, card systems, phone systems or security) is required. Communication skills must be excellent. This position requires a self-motivated individual. Project management experience is preferred. This position can be highly physical. It requires the ability to work in crawl spaces and lift at least 50 pounds. Most work is done indoors. A significant amount of this position’s time will be in an office in front of a computer. There will be use of a variety of tools. The ability to do wiring work with multi-colored wire and small tools in tight spaces is required.
