Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction, designing and developing curriculum, evaluating student performance, and advising students. Candidates must also be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have at least a master's degree in nursing education. Applicants who have an MSN in another area will be required to complete a post-master's certificate in nursing education within three (3) years of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must also have a current SC RN license and a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in Maternal-Newborn nursing. The primary area of the assigned teaching responsibilities is Maternity Nursing. Teaching experience in an ADN or BSN program is highly preferred. Clinical experience with and knowledge base of content related to the assigned teaching responsibilities is essential. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are also essential.
