(Contingent upon available funding): 0.00 - 0.00, Commensurate Work Schedule: Typically 5 days/week, 8 hours/day Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: TheCenter for Wellness and Recovery (CWR) at the Oklahoma State University Centerfor Health Sciences (OSU-CHS) is seeking a Project Manager for a grantawarded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration(SAMHSA). The purpose of the grant project is to reduce morbidity and mortalityassociated with opioid abuse in high-risk rural communities with large AmericanIndian populations in southeast Oklahoma. The Project Manager will work closely with the OSUCooperative Extension Services (OCES) to expand the existing reach and focus ofevidence-based programs, while developing and implementing efforts targetingprevention, treatment and recovery of substance use disorders. This willinclude, but not be limited to, identifying model programs, developingmaterials related to prevention, treatment and recovery (PTR) from opioid usedisorder, and ensuring high quality, culturally-sensitive training.
The Project Manager will serve as the mainpoint of contact for all CWR and OCES staff, working closely with the Directorof Programs. The Project Manager will manage all required communication, oversee the budget,and collaborate with OCES personnel to ensure that educators receive support,education and training as required.
This position is a grant funded position, set to end 9/29/2021.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience, such as, substance abuse prevention, intervention, and/or treatment and recovery.
- Valid driver's license and be insurable, as occasional travel by car will be required.
- Master's degree
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of community-based programs
- Experience and knowledge of Native American culture and community
- Experience and knowledge with tribal nations
