Job Summary/Basic Function

The Rawlings Sport Business Management Program Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Rawlings Sport Business Management Program and Program Director. The ideal candidate will also manage communications, correspond with key program partners and assist in the overall organization of the online Sport Business Management program. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff and students.

Essential Responsibilities:

Administration & Coordination
•Organize various meetings with adjuncts and other university members
•Coordinate advisory board and partnership meetings
•Organize day to day operations
•Create Proof of Performance (POP) documents for partners in conjunction with Associate Dean
•Act as contract fulfillment designee
•Develop and track program metrics
•Organize and manager volunteer opportunities

•Write Rawlings Sports Business Management newsletter
•Prepare and manager program’s digital presence such as updating website, creating content and managing the social media presence (i.e. Facebook)
•Draft various types of communications for correspondence with professionals, alumni, current/prospective students and adjuncts

Relationship Management
•Assist with partnership growth related to academics and experiential learning
•Develop cross-departmental relationships with Marketing, Admission, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree
•Two years of professional work experience
•Excellent time-management and organizational skills
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
•Strong computer skills, including Excel proficiency and database management experience
•Knowledge of social media and digital presence optimization
•Detail-oriented and efficient
•Excellent problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

•Prior experience as program coordinator or relevant position
•Previous project management experience
•Prior experience in higher education
