Online Adjunct Instructor - DNP Statistics
Maryville University is accepting applications for Online Section Adjunct Instructors to teach in the Online Doctor of Nursing Program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to instructing the course based on provide curriculum and assisting students in achievement of course objectives; moderating and guiding student interaction in course-related work groups and discussion forums; scheduling and hosting office hours through use of conferencing tools, grading and providing feedback; work with DNP students and faculty as needed for assistance with statistical analysis.
Applications are being accepted from candidates who have both teaching and industry experience working in graduate level Statistics and are able to teach the following courses:
•Principles of Epidemiology And Biostatistics
•Terminal degree from an accredited institution
•Demonstrated ability to coach and assist students in achieving their academic goals
•Exceptional oral and written communication skills
•Familiarity with DNP scholarly projects
•Demonstrated expertise in Statistics and research methodology
•PhD in Statistics or related field
•Online teaching experience
•Experience using online learning management platforms (Canvas, D2L, Moodle, Blackboard, eCollege, etc.)
•Adjunct Instructors will be provided orientation and training on the Canvas LMS and will be required to complete a self-paced online training course covering techniques for online facilitation and student engagement.
