Job Details
ECU Department of Mathematics is currently seeking Federal Work Study Students to serve as Front Desk Assistants. Front Desk Assistants are the first ones to greet students that come into the CAVE. Front desk workers must be upbeat and personable, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work with students from diverse backgrounds. The responsibilities of a front desk worker include but are not limited to: checking students in and out of the CAVE, helping police students for food and drinks, answering the CAVE phone, running errands for instructors on duty, and helping proctor tests. Hours for a front desk worker depend on his/her school schedule and will not be any more than 25 hours a week. This is a Monday – Friday position. Students that will be taking Math1065 during the 2019-2020 year are not eligible for this position.
