Additionally, this position researches and analyzes transactions to ensure accurate reconciliations.

Monitors assigned financial aid accounts daily and prepares deposits, returns, and/or transfers of funds as needed, ensuring all completed accurately and timely. Maintains cash balances in accordance with federal and state regulations, and University policy. Retains detailed supporting documentation for all account activities.

Monitors expense budget for assigned accounts and communicates budget needs to management.
Communicates with other University departments and offices as needed, and performs other duties as assigned

This position will review and interpret federal, state, and University regulations and assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for financial aid accountingQualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in accounting or related field; or a high school diploma/equivalency and six year of experience related to the duties of this position.

(Note:or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Knowledge of electronic data processing as it applies to fiscal and accounting activities.

Ability to perform accurately in a detail oriented environment.

Knowledge of applicable computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word), and basic computer functions.Preferred Degree in Accounting.Anticipated Salary Range Anticipate hiring in the mid 30,000.00Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
