Will serve as the Associate Dean for Outreach and Entrepreneurship. Individual will be required to teach classes in area of expertise and engage in creative or research activities.
Direct College of Music public relations and media activity. Work with the Dean of the College in development of patron groups and alumni relations.
Work with music faculty, professional staff, and other deans to coordinate guest artists and special events; promote the College's concert season, including ticketing and credit card compliance; work with the director and staff of FSU's extensive Summer Music Camps program; oversee special programs including student off campus performances; and engage in outreach within the university and broader community.
Plan and track career development opportunities and outcomes for College of Music students and graduates.Qualifications Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in Music with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse constituencies.
Overall research and/or creative activity appropriate for a senior appointment in music.Pay Plan This is a Faculty position.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
