Responsible for planning,
administering, reviewing, and evaluating, all actives related the College Nursing.
Strategically manage, plan, and execute College of Nursing events on and off campus. Including but not limited to scholarship dinners, receptions, seminars, meetings, pinning, conferences, lectures, speaker series, symposium, outreach programs, and fundraising events. Determines and oversees events arrangement including venue reservations, catering, photography, videographer, parking and transportation, permits, equipment, entertainment, event signage,seating charts, name tags, and any other special requests. Directs logistics such as timeline, budget, marketing, staffing for events and speaker. Ensures all events align with the College and University.
Establishes and maintains relationships with external audiences and constituencies such as alumni, donors, sponsors, and other campus units such as Turnbull Conference Center, Alumni Association, and Career Center. Establishes and manages contractual agreements with clients and vendors. Promotes recruitment, membership, and sponsorship.
Provides pre/post event Alumni information for media communications and collaborate with College of Nursing. Manage post-event activities such as provide feedback/appreciation surveys, track, cost, handle invoices, and alumni tracking in database. Monitors the success using a variety of metrics including but not limited to alumni and student participation, giving totals, and event attendance.Qualifications Associates degree plus two years experience in event management and coordinating; or four years experience in event management and coordinating.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Anticipated Salary Range Salary commensurate with education and experience.Pay Plan This is an OPS/temporary Job.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
