The Counseling Program at DePaul University seeks to fill onefull-time, non-tenure track faculty positionin Counseling.
Responsibilities include teaching introductory and advanced masters courses and advising students in relation to the field of counseling. In addition, the position requires providing support for departmental and programmatic initiatives that seek to create a culture of student engagement, critical inquiry, and the development of counselors as practitioners, scholars, and leaders.
Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in Counselor Education, preferably from aCACREPprogram, or qualification to be consideredCACREPcore faculty. The desirable candidate will have professional and academic experience with diverse populations.
Requirements include teaching masters level core counseling courses, i.e., Introduction to Counseling, Counseling Theories, Legal & Ethical Issues in the Counseling Profession, Multiculturalism, Testing and Appraisal, Psychopathology, and/or other courses in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, or College Counseling and Student Affairs specialty areas depending on the applicants expertise.
