Responsibilities:
This is a full-time, temporary position for Academic Year 2019-2020. Position end date is May 31, 2020 with a possible extension beyond that date.
Provides comprehensive secretarial support to the interim Dean of the College as assigned. Performs assigned secretarial tasks for the College faculty, to include scheduling and timekeeping activities, data and records management, documentation and correspondence, and accomplishing special projects.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required; A minimum of 2 years secretarial experience is required, preferably in support of a senior-level manager. Experience in a higher education environment is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) is required. A minimum of 45 wpm typing speed is required. Must have excellent written communication skills. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
