Requirements
Tutor, Physiology-CAM - Georgetown University Medical Center
The Tutor will be tutoring graduate students in the Physiology-CAM program. This role is necessary to provide academic support to the students from a person experienced and knowledgeable in the subject matter. The tutor will be supervised by Hakima Amri, Ph.D, Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Cell and Molecular Biology. The Chair of the Department is Elliott Crooke, Ph.D., who works under the EVP. The mission is to provide academic support to graduate students in the CAM program, helping them succeed academically and in their future career endeavors, as is the mission of Georgetown University. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answers students' questions.
- Explains difficult concepts.
- Helps students develop problem-solving skills to succeed in their coursework.
- Communicates with students, providing additional academic help via email and canvas.
Qualifications
- M.S. or higher degree is required in a biomedical sciences field
