#101838 High Risk OB Ultrasound Tech - Per Diem
Qualified candidates will be responsible for performing low and high risk perinatal Obstetric (OB) ultrasound examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines and protocols. Should have special interest and expertise in prenatal diagnosis and OB ultrasound with the ability to recognize normal and pathological conditions and apply additional modalities as indicated (i.e. Doppler, 3D/4D).
The candidates should obtain relevant history via EMR, image according to protocol, review cases with the care team, and generate preliminary reports. Familiarity in recognizing and troubleshooting various imaging IT issues is required. The candidates may perform other duties, as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education program (CAAHEP.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)in OB/GYN with active status.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Recent experience in a similar role and setting.
Excellent communication skills.
Basic computer skills: EMR, ultrasound reporting, and PACS.
- RDMS in Fetal Echo.
- Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) and Nasal Bone (NB)Certification.
- Inpatient OB experience
- Two to Three (2 - 3) years OB ultrasound experience.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
