The Manager of Football Video/Digital Production is responsible for (a) the production of original creative video and (b) daily management of the on-field analytical video needs (practice and games) for a Division I FCS football program. Bucknell is a highly selective, privately endowed comprehensive university of 3,600 students that is a member of the NCAA Division I (FCS in Football) and the Patriot League for 23 of 27 varsity sports. The University is located in Lewisburg on a 450-acre campus in central Pennsylvania's Susquehanna River Valley. New York City, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia are each within a 3 ½ hour drive from Lewisburg.

Responsibilities Include:
1. Assist the head football coach in all facets of digital media and video production needs for a Division I FCS football program. . Responsible for telling the story of Bison Football through developing and creating video content for social media, visual displays and branding utilization. This is a non-coaching position with NCAA rules restricting all recruiting and on-field coaching activities.

2. Serves as the creative vision for end-to-end management of video content for social media and overall football recruiting assets. Provide comprehensive, advanced-level video and digital media production by developing concepts, researching, planning, scripting, directing, editing, and posting program-specific digital media projects; ranging from recruiting materials, promotional campaigns, web features, hype videos and new media/digital media efforts for the football program.

Operate high quality cameras to acquire footage, both in the studio and on-location, using a variety of audio and video equipment configured in a field (ENG) or studio setting. Responsible for editing program content using Non-Linear systems, motion graphics, and music into a finished piece that meets approval.

3. Works closely and collaboratively with other members of the external operations team, including athletics communications staff. to produce videos that will assist in increasing engagement with prospects, alumni, campus community, and fans.

4. Coordinate and supervise the on-field video production, editing, and distribution of practice and game film including, but not limited to:
a. DV Sport Video support on a daily and post-game basis;
b. Maintenance of video and computer editing equipment;
c. Organization of practice filming and games;
d. Sideline Communications; and,
d. Online video exchange with conference and non-conference opponents.

5. Perform other duties as assigned.

The Manager of Football Video/Digital Production will provide experience and expertise that contributes to Bucknell’s commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Knowledge or applicable strategies for video communications in intercollegiate athletics
3. Experience and working knowledge of design programs and layout (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite or closely related software)
4. Knowledge of, or ability to learn, DV Sport Video Production and Dragonfly sports software for football
5. Strong verbal and written communications skills, along with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations
6. Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions, problem solve and make decisions
7. Meticulous attention to detail
8. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor
9. Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects
10. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Two years of creative media experience (creation, shooting, editing), preferably in college athletics setting
2. Knowledge of, or ability to learn, University, NCAA, and Patriot League rules and compliance related to this position

Physical Demands:
1. Work involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
2. Extended work days to include nights and weekends, with team travel required.
3. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds.
