This position will be the primary person to provide audio and visual technical support to the ASUB campus. This is a 12 month position. Responsibilities shall include the coordination of all sound, lighting, and video technology that is required for special campus events. Special attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well with a diverse group is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Responsible for ensuring the functionality of audio, video, and multimedia technologies at ASUB meeting rooms, conference rooms, and event venues, including replacement cycle management, purchasing, installation, maintenance, technical support and training as needed.
2.Conduct advance planning, including site visits and coordination with participants for upcoming video/multimedia needs at college events.
3.Oversee all aspects of video/multimedia functions including lighting and sound.
4.Maintain ASUB video/multimedia equipment and stay current with best practices for video/multimedia professionals.
5.Advise in terms of needed video/multimedia equipment, including hardware and software, for ASUB use.
6.AV technician, sound engineer, camera operator for live events, webinars and video conferencing.
7.Work collaboratively with scheduled college events and ensure coverage for all multi-media needs.
8.Assist the Special Events-Community Relations Coordinator in the arrangement for special events.
9.Communicate effectively in a professional, tactful and courteous manner with students, employees, faculty, and the general public.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Salary$27,000Required Qualifications

Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or equivalent certifications. Strong background in sound and lighting management and video production.
