The ERP Administrator ensures the reliable performance of ERP systems, troubleshoots and resolves any ERP related software, user access, or other problems. The Administrator supports efforts to identify and troubleshoot hardware issues related to ERP systems. Participates in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test, and implement ERP systems and applications. Monitors system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability, coordinates new software releases, fixes, and upgrades with technical teams and users. Recommends new features or changes to configuration/workflows based on group feedback.
An associate’s degree and work experience in ERP administration and architecture. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Applied experience in Banner ERP administration and architecture.
Applied experience installing and administering Tomcat, WebLogic, and related software.
Applied experience in Banner and Linux security administration.
Knowledge of Linux system administration.
Knowledge of Networking and Network security principles.
Knowledge of Oracle Database in a clustered, high-availability configuration incorporating Oracle RAC.
Must be able to apply experience, logic, and imagination to make sense of situations that arise and develop solutions that solve problems.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other IT staff, business stakeholders, and vendors.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendor staff ranging from frontline support to executive level personnel.
Proficient written and verbal communications skills.
