The Coordinator Alumni Services, under the direction of an Assistant Director or above, assists in the design, development, and implementation of departmental processes and/or programs. Recommends policies and procedures to ensure effective coordination of departmental programs.Essential Duties Job Function
Responsible for developing and hosting various alumni events and activities on behalf of UNF and the Alumni Association. Responsible for all marketing, management, administrative direction, and coordination of events. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for the tracking of all registration, payment and attendance for events.
Frequent evening work required. Occasional weekend work and travel.
Develops and executes communication strategies involving direct mail and online social media spaces such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Linkedin, and other media applications.
During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.Percentage Of Time100 Posting Detail Information Marginal Functions
Supervise/provide direction to students, staff and volunteers. Create new CMS web pages, update existing pages; test/repair web pages for WCAG compliance; and upload accessible documents. A high energy level, outgoing personality, commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and an ability to follow through are critical to success in this position. A creative approach to problem solving is also a plus.Required Qualifications
A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a directly related area of specialization; or a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and two years of experience directly related to the job functions.Faculty Position Required QualificationsDepartmental Requirements
Preference shown to applicants who meet the required qualifications and also possess the following:
Must have previous experience with event planning, alumni relations, volunteer management, external relations, or client relations.
Must be poised, professional and outgoing with a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships.
Individual should be a proven self-starter with the ability to make progress on and simultaneously manage multiple priorities, projects and tasks.
