This position will focus on program management/development; supervision and development of direct reports; CLEMSON RISE program promotion, and collaboration with campus stakeholders to promote a sense of belonging and retention to the University. Other duties as required.

35% - Essential - Program Management: Designs, develops, implements, and manages fiscal, academic, social and co-curricular initiatives for the Living-Learning Community (LLC). Develops strategic and tactical plans for LLC. Manages registration activities; establish and maintain relationships with academic departments. Establish and implement policies and procedures related to the program consulting with appropriate University units. Serve as the liaison to general public, university offices, and programs related to undergraduate programs. Develops direct reports and serves as main point of contact for the RISE Faculty Director and Faculty Fellows.

25% - Essential - Student Services: Develop and manage additional activities supporting undergraduate student services for the program to promote a sense of belonging to the institution and to STEM disciplines. Provides counseling to RISE students and develops/maintains initiatives to promote a sense of professional identity in STEM. Collaborates with College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences (CECAS) Advising Centers and campus units to support retention. Collaborates with campus stakeholders to develop/maintain student programming to support evidence based academic engagement and co-curricular faculty programming. Ensure RISE students are billed appropriately.

15% - Essential - Recruitment and Promotion: Develop and coordinate recruitment activities and promotion efforts pertaining to the RISE program and its name recognition. Collaborate with CECAS units to promote the RISE LLC to prospective students and coordinates with campus units to ensure consistent brand messaging is upheld. Provides input and participates in all orientation activities. Collaborates and creates strategies to support students throughout new student orientation.

15% - Essential - Data Management and Assessment: Maintain and manage pertinent RISE student records in accordance with applicable laws and policies. Continuously improves records management and LLC application process for incoming students. Prepares surveys and reports; maintains and updates complex data management systems to analyze and interpret data to support departmental data needs related to this undergraduate program. Plans and publishes program updates. Prepares grant proposals as they pertain to LLCs. Conducts benchmarking with living-learning communities, residential colleges, and first-year STEM programs nationwide.

10% - Essential - Liaising: Assists the Director of Student Engagement in developing strategic initiatives around living-learning programs, and alignment of living-learning goals and assessment college-wide. Serves as liaison and resource to other CECAS units on implementation and development of new living-learning programs. Serves as liaison and resource to the College of Science and Honors College to maintain and/or create STEM focused living-learning initiatives. As needed, serves as a member for college-level committees relating to the advancement of the first-year and sophomore year experiences, student services, or academic support. Other duties as required.

Bachelor's Degree and experience in student services programs.

Master's Degree and three (3) plus years of work experience in student services programs.

Licenses & Certifications - One or more of the following: Board Certified Coach; Clifton Strengths Certified; Global Career Development Facilitator; IDI Qualified Administrator

Standard Hrs: 37.5; Band: 06 ($ 40,759.00 - $ 75,413.00)
