The Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions serves as a key member of a successful transfer admissions team and the transfer leadership team. This position manages the online accelerated program(s) admission process; to include analyzing data, setting and adjusting goals, and serving as communication resource between our office and other constituents. The Assistant Director provides daily management of data and report running and facilitate communication between College of Health and Human Services and Admissions about the program, plans and implements transfer admissions programs. This position provides assistance to prospective students and enrollment management company with regard to transfer admission policies and procedures, transferability of credit, and graduation requirements based on pre-admission evaluation of transfer credit. The Assistant Director reports to the Associate Director of Transfer Admissions.

Detailed Job DescriptionMinimum Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree
•A minimum of 3-5 years in college/university admissions or higher education

List the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position

•Data interpretation and analytical skills
•Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship building skills
•Ability to have a team-oriented outlook
•Analytical, adaptability, and organizational skills
•High energy level, a positive and professional attitude
•Strong writing and public speaking skills
•Valid driver’s license required

Preferred formal education, professional skills and work experience

Master’s degree is preferred. Work with online-accelerated degree programs is preferred.
