Position Summary

NYU’s prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director of Student Engagement.  This position will manage logistics, reporting, and operations associated with all international MBA programs, including Doing Business in, Study Abroad, and faculty-led international courses. The Assistant Director will take primary ownership of outgoing Study Abroad programs, including the selection process, course credit oversight, and reporting. This position will take primary ownership of faculty-led international course operations, reporting, and logistics and serve as the primary advisor for cultural treks. The selected candidate will advise students on the international program offerings and counsel students on proper course selection. Other responsibilities including managing special events, maintaining program budget and taking primary oversight of data for internal purposes as well as survey responses.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and 3 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must include experience in business operations, budgeting or in an administrative organization. The selected candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; demonstrated event and program management and execution; and great attention to detail and project management. Demonstrated writing ability is essential. Proficiency using word-processing, database and spreadsheet software is also required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred. Accounting knowledge; Excel expertise, budget analysis, forecasting, reconciliation; IT proficiency; relationship management; data analysis are all preferred skills.
