Department of Economics, Finance and Quantitative Analysis


Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for two nine-month, tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics faculty positions in the Department of Economics, Finance and Quantitative Analysis, which begins August 2020.

Position responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in economics at a highly effective level, maintaining a quality research pipeline and publishing in quality academic journals, and performing meaningful service for the department and profession. Primary consideration will be given to applicants with research/teaching interests in applied/empirical macroeconomics or health economics, but strong applicants in other fields may be considered. An ideal candidate will have synergies with one or more of our research centers: Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity, Education Economics Center, and Econometric Center.

An earned Doctorate (or expectation of earning a doctorate prior to Fall 2020; degree must be conferred by start date) in Economics, or related discipline or the foreign equivalent.
