•Basic understanding of Banner INB, CourseLeaf CLSS, Ad Astra and Microsoft Excel.

Job Description

•Responsible for providing administrative and general clerical support to management/staff within assigned division/department or unit.

Job Duties

•Assist students with registration and schedule changes when they have questions
•Update/maintain all grades, which include grade changes, deletions, correspondence, extension, study abroad and testing center to student’s transcripts
•Update/maintain student Academic Standing
•Update Suspension/Probation comments when needed due to grade change or new grade entry
•Verify drops and withdrawals using reports
•Assist with Special Registration when requested by supervisor or department head
•Compose, type and proofread correspondence and forms
•Maintain confidential files & student records – both paper and electronic
•Scan and file documents into Banner Document Management System
•Oversee document retention and destruction
•Process academic records (transcripts) Check for holds;
•Processes registration adjustments
•Verify student enrollment and prepares enrollment verifications
•Open and close the office at set times
•Monitor due dates/times of all daily tasks, assignments and projects and initiate action
•Open, date, and distribute incoming mail
•Communicate and collaborate effectively with other offices on campus, such as the Admissions Office, Financial Aid Office and Student Business Services Office
•Assist with service counter as needed
•Assist faculty, staff, students and public with wide variety of issues, in person, by telephone and/or email.
•Assists in the development and maintenance of internal procedure manuals.
•Assist in coordinating student work duties and training
•Committed towards achieving total office teamwork
