Established in 1978, Moores Cancer Center is the region’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This designation is reserved for centers with the highest achievements in cancer research, clinical care, education and community contributions.
This position involves providing administrative oversight for an executive, including the coordination of communications and pertinent data among a group of the executive's subordinate management staff. Performs and / or oversees special projects or assignments that are highly sensitive or complex in nature, requiring a high level of independence and initiative in execution and implementation. Handles details and oversees work of a highly confidential and critical nature to support the executive on matters of significance.
Provides support to a direct report of the senior leadership; ensures front administrative processes and office operations run smoothly in the executive's office. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree in a related area; or equivalent combination of experience/training.
A minimum three (3+) or more years of relevant experience.
Professional experience providing complex administrative support to a high-level executive.
Demonstrated experience managing complex executive calendars and scheduling meetings.
High level of proficiency composing, editing, and finalizing complex business correspondence, summaries, and reports.
Expert level MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
Experience within a Healthcare organization.
Experience supporting C-Level executives.
Demonstrated ability to function within a complex organization.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
