Adjunct Faculty Teaching Positions in Chemistry at TCNJ (Spring 2019) The College of New Jersey, in Ewing (between Trenton and Princeton) has openings for adjunct faculty members to teach General Chemistry I and II and Organic Chemistry I and II. Each course has a lecture and lab component, with two 80 minute lectures a week and one or two 170 minute laboratory sessions.Spring classes run from January 27th through May 8th, with a Final Exam to be given during the following two weeks. Both daytime and nighttime courses are available. Each lab would have no more than 24 students and the lecture no more than 48; the instructor teaches both labs and the lectures. The salary is $ 8,450 for lecture with a single lab section and $11,830 for a lecture with a double lab section. The positions require a minimum of a BS or equivalent in Chemistry or a closely related field. This is an excellent opportunity for post-docs and ABD students to gain teaching experience as an instructor of record.
