Henderson Library. The Help Desk Support Technician serves as resource for student technicians in solving high level technical problems and manages computer labs.
Essential Functions
•Coordinates support for staff members, departmental computer labs and special projects.
•Educates staff and students on security awareness, virus infections and password protection.
•Resolves issues with virus infections, network connectivity and GSTV.
•Inspects and reports faulty data jacks or ports.
•Inspects and replaces faulty Cat 5e or Cat6 cables.
•Maintains and addresses issues detected on vulnerability scan reports.
•Performs software and hardware upgrades for staff machines.
•Administers LPTOne printer services; oversees all system and software upgrades or requests and tracks computer inventory.
