Temp: Class Start Registration Specialist - Student Services


With the onset of the term structure, additional help is needed in the areas of course record creation and registration. This position will create course records for student registration, register students for course offerings, build custom schedules for students, and assist in all areas of new student processing and registration. This is a six-month temporary position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Create offerings in the student information system of courses within the term structure to accommodate new students starting on or after July 1, 2019.Manage the course offerings by reviewing enrollment history, new student starts, and sequencing required by specific programming.Register students for course offerings as instructed by advisors, registration change counselors, or class start specialists, building custom schedules if needed.Build custom schedules as needed.Review student degree audits to verify appropriate registration.Maintain appropriate fields in the student information system that are required for new students such as clusters, statuses, and demographic information.Assist with all areas of new student processing and registration as needed.Other duties and projects as assigned.
