This position will provide general administrative and reception support to the Office of First Year Experience to facilitate the smooth operation of the College’s new student transition processes and programming, to include the execution of the Fall and Spring new student orientation program.

Required Qualifications

Experience meeting and assisting diverse groups of people with a variety of concerns, questions, or problems, while still maintaining a pleasant and appropriate demeanor.
Experience working in an environment which required a professional attitude (when greeting students and other guests and answering phone calls).
Experience working in an environment where confidentiality was key.
Demonstrated ability in word-processing, email, and student leader selection and program management software.
Demonstrated experience in using databases effectively to record information and organize it according to specific requests.
High School Diploma
Two years of professional experience in an office setting,
Demonstrated above-average computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Five years of professional experience working in higher education and/or event management are preferred.
