Position Summary:

The Regulatory and Administrative Coordinator is a key member of the UW-Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention's (UW-CTRI) Research Team. This team member will provide Center-wide support to our tobacco cessation research studies in the areas of quality assurance, regulatory compliance and administrative support. The incumbent will work independently and as a part of a group on multiple research studies simultaneously in service to the Center. The Regulatory and Administrative Coordinator is responsible to the Director of Research Administration in carrying out these duties.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Biomedical, social science, healthcare or related field preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

A minimum of 6 months experience in research setting required, experience working in a health, social service or clinical research setting, experience working in the University system preferred.

Experience working with IRB and regulatory reporting required

Experience working with computer databases required, working with REDCap database software preferred.

Experience building QA queries for research studies preferred.

Additional Information:

Knowledge in use of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required.

Candidate should display:

- Ability to rapidly learn and apply new technologies and skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with highly technical and nontechnical staff.
- Ability to function independently and effectively with superior organizational and attention to detail skills.

In achievement and prestige, the University of Wisconsin–Madison has long been recognized as one of America's great universities.
