Associate Director Global MBA
DescriptionThe Associate Director of the Fox School Global MBA (GMBA) and Master’s in Management (MiM) Programs, as a member of the Fox Graduate Division team, coordinates program management and support for current, full-time, global MBA students.
The Associate Director, under the supervision of the Executive Director, will coordinate all aspects of student services for full-time Global MBA students and full-time Master’s in Management students, including but not limited to orientations, advising, registration, program/course evaluations, class materials distribution, graduation, and co-curricular activities for students. The Associate Director works with the Executive and Academic Directors to ensure that students’ needs are being addressed. The Associate Director actively participates in the recruiting and yielding of students with the Graduate Enrollment Management office and works closely with the Center for Student Professional Development, the Office of Alumni Development and the Associate Director, Student Experience to ensure that students have a positive overall graduate experience, with access to corporate representatives and alumni. As part of the Graduate team, the Associate Director will contribute to the overall mission of the Fox MBA and Specialized Master’s Programs office by working collaboratively with the entire graduate team to cross-sell the School's suite of MBA and Specialized Master’s programs. When necessary, the incumbent will support the other MBA and Specialized Master’s programs in the graduate division. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree and at least four (4) years of progressive related experience that includes higher education administration, program management, student advising, professional development coaching, counseling and/or student services. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:•Demonstrated ability to work as a team player as well as to proactively interact across multiple levels, units and divisions;•Strong written and oral communication skills;•Demonstrated ability to independently anticipate and identify problems, obstacles and opportunities and take decisive action to address them;•Demonstrated customer service skills along with the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.•Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet applications and ability to use web-based computer software such as WebEx, Banner, Salesforce, Blackboard etc. •Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruptions;•Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required;•Ability to travel to Temple University Main Campus, Temple University Center City Campus as well as off-campus sites that may not be accessible via public transportation.
Preferred:•Master's degree in Business or Education.•Curricular or certificate training in advising, peer counseling or counseling. •Experience working or studying overseas.
