The position will begin in August of 2020.

The School of Business currently offers undergraduate programs in the area of Accounting, Financial Economics, Management, Marketing, Organizational Leadership, and Sports Management with 98% of our graduates either working or enrolled in graduate programs within 6 months of graduation. The School of Business also offers a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. These programs combine theory with real-world experience to prepare students for professional success.

Applicants must have the ability to work collegially and effectively with faculty, students, staff, administrative colleagues, alumni, and professional communities served by the unit.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • A primary focus on undergraduate teaching in the area of finance with some graduate-level courses.
  • Assisting in academic and career advising of business students
  • Sharing with the department chairperson and other department faculty the responsibility for department representation at on-campus recruitment events
  • Sharing with the department chairperson and other department faculty annual and long-range planning of the programs
  • Developing and maintaining an active research agenda.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications Candidates must hold either a Ph.D. in Finance or a Ph.D. in Economics with a focus on finance. Teaching experience and/or professional finance experience is highly desirable. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States, without sponsorship from the University under the Immigration Reform and Control Act. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability and commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
