Asst, Assoc or Full Professor – Computer Science and Engineering (2 Positions)
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln invites applications for multiple tenured/tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) to begin Fall 2020.
We seek faculty colleagues who can establish a strong scholarly research and teaching program in the Department’s three fields of expertise: (i) Informatics, Analytics, and Foundations, (ii) Software Engineering, and (iii) Systems. Promising candidates with interests in these areas are encouraged to apply.Minimum Required Qualifications
Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering or a related field before their start date. A demonstrated potential for outstanding research and a promise of effective teaching at the undergraduate through graduate levels, including the advising of M.S. and Ph.D. students is also required.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills and a strong desire to work in a diverse and collaborative cross-disciplinary environment.
Applicants for Associate or Full Professor rank must have potential or a demonstrated track record of leadership in the candidate’s research field.Preferred Qualifications
